Hi guys! So sorry it took this long for me to get back on here. There's been some crap in my life, but it's getting a little easier (or I'm just getting use to it). I would like to introduce you to a new friend, it is my IPad. I just downloaded this app, (yeah yeah I know, "there's an app for that"), and it really makes blogging easier. At least, for 4.99 us dollars it better. So anyways, here's an actual post! (sorry for the pic spam)
First let's start off with a mini Christmas haul! I got these six, fairly fast drying nail polishes......AND A NEW CAMERA! It's so nice Aand clear, I love it. Back to the polishes. The first one is a very metallic silver; it looks like liquid metal when pick it up with the brush. The second one is a peach/pink color and very girlie. Then there is a dark plum color and an orange. These are all from The fast drying series from Revlon. Then I have two "cheap" polishes I got solely for the glittery-awesomeness. Considering they were only a dollar or so, they're actually pretty decent! I just get very impatient when polish takes awhile to dry (seriously, if it takes more than TWO minutes I start taking it off). Then there is the fast dry top coat from Sally Hansen. Nothing too special other than that it dries in seconds!
What do you get a Hello Kitty fanatic who also loves nail art? Why, Hello Kitty nail polish of course! The colors are a simple glitter, purple, peach, blue, and pink. Unfortunately since they're made for...children....the quality isn't that great nor do they dry fast at all. Mostly for collecting purposes.

Hehe! The Hello Kitty polish came with nail stiiiiiiickers! Unfortunately they didn't stay on long and I'm quite terrible at keeping those things on, but for a short time I had Hello Kitty Awesome Nails!
So now onto a more recent event ::cough::
Ok so Brett and I went to Boston for Valentine's Day. It was actually our first time having someone to share Valentine's Day with! One of the things I love about Boston is being able to walk through the business part of the city and seeing new buildings mixed in with the old. Here we have a castle-like structure. I'm not sure if it was originally built in Boston a long time ago or more recent, but I do believe it now houses some insurance companies. The next photo is a better example of old mixing with new. By the way, these buildings were around the Arlington stop, well sorta. See, Brett and I like to just go exploring and often get lost
So another place we like to frequent in Boston, mostly because I have a membership so admission is free, is the Museum of Science! I'm not even a huge of science as a subject, but they do have an archeology exhibit. It's small, but I always try to find it wheni visit, sorta like paying homage or something. Only this time I couldn't find it!
But instead we found a giant chair! True story: I got stuck up there.
These are tesla coils. The museum uses them for lightening and electricity shows! Very exciting and VERY loud! I think they might be the biggest in the US if not the world.....don't quote me on that.
They did have a gecko exhibit, however. That was pretty sweet! We went around the cages/tanks and played "Find the Gecko!"

Then we some how managed to walk from Arlington (near South Station), to the USS Constitution. That's like circling the whole city..well part of. We followed the harbors and warfs.
I LOVE the ocean during the winter. It's so peaceful and a little eerie at the same time. I also love how it's not the beach but actual ocean that's in use for something other than tourism (even though this is a huge tourist area)

FINALLY we made it to the USS Constitution! We tried getting there last time we were in Boston, which was also during the "Weed Rally" that we got stuck in, by following the Freedom Trail. This is literally red bricks or a red painted line that people can follow thought the city that brings them to all the historical places of the Revolutionary War. We had asked a dressed up tour guide if there was a way to walk to the Constitution, other wise known as Old Iron Sides, via the Freedom Trail and were told no and we'ld have to take the ferry. Well apparently Ben Franklin lied and all you have to do is follow the harbor tour and walk along the coast...and then over a huge, scary, mesh floor, metal bridge......and then through Charleston...and security.
The security guys were so nice! They told us we couldn't go on the ship, but we could still take photos. This is one of the ships used in the Revolutionary War and was nicknamed "Old Iron Sides" due to canon balls appearing to bounce off the side of this wooden ship. Now a days it's still being taken cared of by the US Navy, and this now condominium neighborhood used to be a naval base. Charleston is a very adorable are! It's like walking through history with the historic houses all squished together. We also went to eat at a pub where PaulmReveere used to hang out. It was like eating in a MUSEUM! The ceiling was low and there was a little room off to the side with original BUILT in seating! The food wasn't bad either! Although the "honey BBQ" chicken was really spicy! I wish I had gotten pictures, but we were more concerned with getting water and food after walking all that distance! Overall it was a pretty good Valentine's Day and hopefully we'll be able to do the Constitution again and visit that pub!
I've also been crafting some jewelry. I made a bunch during December, and now that I work at a carafe store, expect to see some more. Here are my favorite "spring" designs:
