So one thing about me is that I currently have a night job (10 pm to 6am). The jobs not bad, but the guy I work for is terrible..but anyways....since I"m up this time for work, on my days off I"m also up...so here's a post!
I got rid of the lobstah design, it was chipping, and decided to do something a little more simple since I may hopefully be interviewing for better jobs *ihope*.
I first did french tips, but made them a little larger than normal because my nails are short and I wanted to be able to add a design to them. Then I went over the white with a cream color to help smooth out the brush strokes and get a more "brown" color for the base. Then I just dabbed my brown polish brush, mostly dry, to create little blobs. Ir onically enough my left hand is better at this because its not as steady so I can't make them perfect little circles. You want a slightly messy look to the brown "spots". Then I took my black nail art polis (it comes with a special nail art brush---L.A. Colors) and outlined parts of the sides. Overall I end up with a more "abstract" (aka not perfect) leopard print look. Then I cleaned up the tips a little and added a line of gold (another L.A. Colors nail art polish) right under the tips. Then I covered them with a whole lotta clear polish to make them shiiiiiny!
There you go, one of my favorite nail art designs! Now that's all I've got since I go back to work tomorrow and will probably be too tired to post for a while :(
